
These provisions aim to prescribe the rights and obligations of the Preparation Office for the OECD Ministerial Meeting on the Future of the Internet Economy (hereafter "Preparation Office") and its users for the use of the Internet related services offered through the official Website (hereafter "Website") of the Preparation Office.
The contents in these provisions shall go into effect as they are notified on the Website. The Preparation Office, if necessary, may modify or revise these provisions with 7 days' prior notice, and the Website users (hereafter "Users") agree to be bound by such modifications or revisions. If users do not accept or abide by the revised provisions, they may not use the services of the Website or may cancel their memberships. Users should visit this page periodically to review the provisions.
The provisions shall be concluded once the User agrees with the provisions and sign up online. Use of the Service is subject to the User's acceptance of and compliance with the provisions. Users are considered to agree with the provisions by clicking on the "Accept" button while they are signing up online.
Users are required to provide personal information including name, e-mail address and password in order to sign up online. Users who wish to make a Meeting registration and hotel reservation are required to provide additional information including business organization, job title, address, phone/fax number. The Preparation Office considers of utmost importance the privacy protection of the User, and is covered by its own privacy policy which is notified on the Website. Users do, however, agree that the Preparation Office may monitor or disclose their personal information if required to do so in order to comply with any valid legal process or governmental request.
The Website of the Preparation Office provides all the services free of charge. In principle, the Service shall be available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. However, the Service may be interrupted for business, communication, management or technical reasons.

The Service in the clauses b, c, d is available only to the User who signs up online at the Website.
The Preparation Office shall approve membership to the users who consent to these provisions and sign up online by filling in the sign-up form. The Preparation Office, however, may not approve the application made under the following conditions:
The Preparation Office shall notify the approval or non-approval of the application via e-mail.
The Preparation Office shall assign an ID and Password to the User as specified in this Agreement. Once becoming a Member of the Website, the Member shall be responsible for the maintenance of the ID and Password, and shall be liable for any disadvantage in the use of the Service caused by the Member's negligence andor by any illicit exploitation from a third party, and in no event shall the Preparation Office be liable for it. The Member may access personal information by visiting the "My Page", and may make a modification in personal information except in some information that is indispensable to the management of the Service like Name and ID.
Users shall be prohibited from doing any of the following activities. The Preparation Office may restrict, block or cancel the membership, as appropriate, of any User conducting any following activities:
The Preparation Office shall make best effort to provide a continuous and stable service to users, except in the occurrences specified in this Agreement, or in any other exceptional circumstances.
The Preparation Office shall not, without prior consent, reveal, disclose or distribute personal information of the User to a third party.
The Preparation Office shall not use personal information of the User for any commercial purposes other than the Service-related business. However, the Preparation Office may monitor, edit or disclose personal information if required to do so in order to comply with any valid legal process or governmental request, or as otherwise provided in these Provisions and the Preparation Office's Privacy Policy.
In no event shall the Preparation Office be liable for any damage incurred to the User in relation to the use of the Service. In the event that a lawsuit is filed, the dispute in relation to the use of the Service shall be settled in the Court having jurisdiction over the Preparation Office.
