The Ministerial Meeting will be preceded by a day of non-governmental Stakeholder Forums, to take place on 16 June 2008. These Forums will enable different constituencies, including business, the Internet technical community, civil society and organised labour, to present their perspectives of key policy issues for the future development of the Internet economy. Representatives from non-governmental stakeholder groups will be invited to participate in the Ministerial Meeting, so as to convey messages from the Stakeholder Forums to Ministers and policy makers.
